Meetings in Wandlitz

Each year take place in Wandlitz meetings, into which partly also our bio yard is with included. By the central situation, directly beside the museum of Wandlitz, they have the possibility with the meetings, like the museum celebration, the Brandenburger land portion, the day of the region (harvest thank celebration) etc. of visiting also our yard and of examining or of acquiring our regional products.

Museum celebration
The Wandlitzer museum celebration finds each year in May instead of (on 2nd and/or 3rd May Sunday). The exact date is announced before in the press and in the broadcast. (One can inquire it by telephone in addition, at the agrarian museum.)
On this day many attractions are open to the visitors approximately around the museum. And there our yard directly beside the agrarian museum lies, participates also we already for many years with our offer.  This year finds the museum celebration to 17. May instead of from 11.00 to 16,00 o'clock instead of.
We opened our bio yard on this day of 11.00 - 16,00 o'clock for public traffic.
Our guests can stay with Schmalzstullen, coffee and baked cake in cosy round and leave times the soul baumeln.


Brandenburger land portion
As in each year, traditionally the Brandenburger land portion takes place on the 2nd June weekend.
It is an initiative of the agrarian and Department of the Environment and the national farmer's association „per Agro “, for the promotion of the rural area. It offers views of the historical and present land life.
The Brandenburger land portion is the bridge between producers and consumers, it offers the opportunity for a direct discussion between both.
On these days we all day long opened our yard for our guests and them to be able to do with a cup coffee and a piece of cake a view over our work to provide.


Day of the region
On first October Sunday we celebrate, again together with the agrarian museum and the resident businessmen „the day of the region “.  For us it is directly too set with the harvest thank celebration. This year is day of the region on 4 October.
The harvest thank celebration is one of the oldest celebrations at all, already the old Romans celebrated in the harvesting time a celebration in honours of cerium, the goddess of the grain.  The catholic Christians celebrate harvest thanks on first Sunday in October. They thank God for the fruit of the earth and the human work.
Also on this day the visitors come at their expense. Beside fruit, vegetable, we offer also a cellar potatoes, whatever can cost the visitors, together with our house-made herb quark, to a large selection of Kürbissen as well as eggs of unsolicited chickens.
